Rough Cleaning

The first phase of the construction cleaning process.

Setting the Foundation: The Rough Cleaning phase is the crucial foundation on which the subsequent stages will stand. The major tasks included in this phase of the post-framing, drywall, and doors trim installation construction cleaning process are the removal of construction materials and debris, as well as sweeping and vacuuming to remove heavy dust and dirt. This is usually done before painting, flooring, or cabinets install are done, including all necessary horizontal and vertical surfaces.
This phase matters because it is the first time you, as the project manager, see the building as it will present itself to the new owners and construction team.
This also sets the tone with subsequent trades to have a clean pallet to do their work and better the practice of cleaning up after themselves for the next trades that follow them.
The Value – The project manager can spot elements that need fixing earlier so they can avoid surprises going forward.  This can help to minimize mistakes before they become invasive and potentially expensive. Keeping a house cleaned up throughout the construction process exudes an image of care taken by the company to all that enter.

First Clean

This phase of cleaning is typically done after the first painting is completed along with the cabinets/vanities, and trade trim outs (electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and hvac) are completed.  The flooring can be installed or not, either way is fine.  Preferably with water hooked up on the house.  Cleaning of the windows and tubs/showers, sweeping and vacuuming.  Wiping out the cabinets and cleaning sinks and tops. The flooring can be installed or not, either way is fine, and before appliances go in.  Typically, the flooring protection is left in place to continue the protection and for the painters to do their final painting.  This sets up a clean environment for the hvac to run as needed and provide for the second painting (if scoped) and hardwood floors.  This is why waiting to put the floors down until after this phase is completed is preferred.

Final Clean

Precision and Detailed Cleaning now that the construction phase is ending and getting the new home “show ready” for the customers and business owners walk through, pre-closing, quality inspection.

The Final Cleaning phase is where your creation transforms into an immaculate sanctuary. This is usually done right before the homeowners pre-closing walk through occurs.  Cleaners remove the finer layers of dust and grime left behind after all the trades are completed and remove any remaining traces of construction activity.  This includes dusting/vacuuming all cabinets inside and out, top and bottom, all bathrooms cleaned and scrubbed, windows cleaned, carpets vacuumed, and floors mopped just to name a few.
As a construction project manager, you understand that precision makes the difference. Just as precision cutting in fabrication ensures perfect fits, meticulous detailing elevates the space’s aesthetics.

Touch up Clean

This phase of Cleaning is typically done the day before or the day of closing on a house, or Presentation and Handover. Now, as you stand at the threshold of project completion, the Final Cleaning phase takes the spotlight. This phase is all about ensuring your building is not only impeccably clean but also ready for its intended purpose. It involves mostly meticulous touch-ups to flooring, kitchen and bathrooms.
For you, the construction project manager, this phase matters profoundly. It’s the culmination of your vision and hard work, presenting a masterpiece to the building new homeowner who is eager to become the new occupants to their impressive new home.

Trash Removal

With this optional available service, we can come and do a jobsite clean up inside and out.  Such as blowing out the home after framing is completed and ready for your pre-drywall or electrical walk throughs.  Removing extra unused materials from inside the house to an organized stack in an accessible area on the property, neatly.  Removing used scraps and debris and discarding.  Again, giving the house an appearance that says “we take care and pride” while building your new dream home.  Perception speaks volumes when it comes to jobsite cleanliness.
